Shikoku gifts for the people who love them
The Shikoku is a spitz-type dog from Japan's smallest main island, bred for hunting wild boar and deer in mountain forests. Owners often describe them as quiet, watchful and fiercely loyal, with a self-reliant streak that makes them independent companions. A gift for someone who owns one lands best when it shows you know the breed: the curled tail, the dense double coat, the calm, deliberate way they size up a new person. A shirt or mug with the word Shikoku on it tells the owner you noticed their dog, not just the species. You can add the dog's name on a second line, which turns a breed shirt into something that belongs to their particular dog. For a dog lover who already has three dogs and a closet full of breed tees, a name-line hoodie or a mug for the morning coffee is a practical, personal pick.
Shikoku gift questions
Can I add my dog's name to a Shikoku design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name. Type the dog's name there and the preview will show you how it sits under the breed.
Is the Shikoku a rare breed?
It's uncommon outside Japan, which is why a shirt with the breed name often starts a conversation with other dog people. If you're unsure how familiar the owner is with it, a mug or tee is an easy way to show you noticed.
Are there Shikoku designs for kids?
Yes. There are kids tees, kids dark tees and baby onesies with breed designs. Use the product filter on the page to see the full set.
Can I order shirts for a group of dog owners at a club or meetup?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste the names, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the shikoku shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a shikoku gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
