Picking a gift for a short order cook
Short order cooks work the grill, the fryer and the ticket rail at once, often on their feet through a rush with a spatula in one hand and a stack of orders in the other. A gift that fits that life is something they can wear on a shift or drink from during a slow stretch. A tee or hoodie works for the kitchen and the drive home, and a mug with their name is the one that gets claimed back from the prep table. Add a second line for the diner, truck or restaurant they work at, or a nickname the crew uses for them. That turns a generic job shirt into one that people in the kitchen will recognize. Short order cooks often keep odd hours, so a hoodie for a cold walk to the bus or a shirt for a day off makes the gift useful well past the shift.
Short Order Cook gift questions
Can I add the name of the restaurant to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the diner, grill or restaurant name there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a short order cook design for dark shirts?
Yes. The dark tee and kids dark tee options come in designs for this word, so you can choose a dark or light shirt.
Can I put a nickname on the mug?
Yes. Type the nickname the crew uses in the text box. It's a good way to make the mug feel like it belongs to them.
What sizes do the short order cook shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a short order cook gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
