Gifts from Slingerlands
Slingerlands is a hamlet in the town of Bethlehem, in the Albany area of upstate New York, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto the name long after they've moved on. A shirt with Slingerlands on it is how someone wears a small place with pride, whether they're still nearby, away at school, or back for a holiday visit. Because it's a small community, the name itself is the point; most people in other towns won't know it, and the people who do will notice right away. Good gifts for someone from here include a tee for weekends in the yard, a hoodie for the first cold season after they've left, or a mug for the kitchen of a grandparent who still lives in the area. Type the name into the text box, check the preview, and you're done.
