Picking a gift for a small mammal keeper
A small mammal keeper is someone who knows their hamsters, rats, guinea pigs or hedgehogs well enough to spot a sneeze, a change in appetite or a bit of extra scratching before anyone else does. Their days involve fresh hay, cage cleanings, bedding changes and a steady stream of questions from friends who just found out they own a ferret. Many keepers talk about their animals the way other people talk about their kids, and their routines are built around feeding, enrichment and the odd midnight trip to the pet store. A gift that nods to that daily care lands well. A shirt with their small mammal's name, a mug for the first coffee before cage cleaning, or a hoodie for the cold basement where the critters live can all feel personal. The most meaningful detail is usually the animal itself, so you can add a name or species on the second line to make the gift specifically theirs.
Small Mammal Keeper gift questions
Can I add the name of the animal to the shirt?
Yes. Most designs have a second line where you can type a name, species or year. The live preview updates as you type so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Are there designs for kids who keep small pets?
Yes, there are kids tees and kids dark tees. Use the product filter to see them, then add the child's name or their animal's name.
What is a good gift for someone who is new to keeping small mammals?
A mug or tee with their hobby on it works well. It's something they can use while they learn, and it shows you noticed what they've taken on.
What sizes do the small mammal keeper shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a small mammal keeper gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
