Gifts from Smithboro
Smithboro is a small place name, and the people who care about it tend to care a lot. Someone from Smithboro might be the one who knows every back road, which church hosts the fall supper, and whose dog is always loose on Main Street. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it, whether they still live there or left years ago and come home for holidays. Because a name this specific is less common on store shelves, a gift with Smithboro on it stands out as something chosen for them. For a long-time resident, a hoodie for cold mornings or a mug for the kitchen works well. For someone who moved away, a tee or mug is a small way of saying you remember where they came from. Add a second line with the street, a year they were born, or a family name to make it theirs.
