Picking a gift for a software lead
A software lead is usually the person who keeps a team moving when the sprint plan falls apart, the one who reads the pull requests before standup and still finds time to unblock the junior engineer stuck on a build error. They spend a lot of their week in meetings, reviews and planning docs, so a gift that's a little bit funny and clearly about their work tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with the title on it is a nice nod to a promotion or a first lead role, and a mug is the easiest daily reminder that someone noticed. If you want it to feel personal, add the team name or the product they ship on a second line, or a year for when they took the role. Coworkers who chip in for a group gift can use the Team Shop to put every teammate's name on their own shirt, which is a good way to mark a launch or the end of a hard quarter.
Software Lead gift questions
Can I add a team name or product under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a team, a product or a year. Type it in and the preview will show you how it sits.
Is software lead a good gift for a promotion?
It can be. A shirt, hoodie or mug with their new title is a simple way to mark the step up, especially if it's a first lead role.
Can I order shirts for my whole engineering team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Do the designs work for other tech job titles?
You can type any job title into the text box. Software lead is the wording on these designs, but you can search for other roles on the store.
What sizes do the software lead shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a software lead gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
