Gifts from South Hero
South Hero is a small island town in Lake Champlain, in Vermont, with a short list of year-round residents and a much longer list of summer people who come back every July. Someone who lives there, or who spends every summer at a camp on the shore, is likely to value a shirt that names the place without leaning on a tourist-shop cliche. Lake life means early mornings on the water, cold swims and a lot of time in old sweatshirts, so a hoodie or a dark tee in a faded tone fits how they actually spend the season. A mug is the easiest pick for the person who starts every day on the porch with coffee and the lake in view. If you're buying for a family that returns each year, a shirt with the town name and the year they first came up makes a keepsake that gets worn for decades. Add a second line with a dock name, a camp name or the family surname and the design becomes theirs alone.
South Hero gift questions
Can I add a camp name or a year to a South Hero design?
Many designs have a second line for a year, a camp name or a family name. Open any design and type it in, and the preview will show how it fits.
Is South Hero a good place to name on a gift?
It's a small island town, so the name works best for people who spend real time there, such as year-round residents, summer families and anyone with a camp on the shore.
Do you have South Hero designs for babies?
Yes, there are a few baby onesie designs. They're a nice first-summer gift for a family with a new baby who visits the lake every year.
What sizes do the south hero shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a South Hero gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
