Picking a gift for a stage supervisor
A stage supervisor is the person who keeps a show running after the lights go down. They call cues, track the crew, handle the problem that comes up thirty seconds before curtain, and usually stay at the back of the house with a headset on for hours. Gifts for them tend to land when they reflect that job: the long nights, the headset, the crew they're responsible for. A dark tee or hoodie suits the black-clad backstage look and the cold of a theater with the heat off. A mug fits the coffee that gets them through tech week. Put the production or venue name on a second line if you know it, or a year for a show they're proud of. If you're buying for a whole crew, a single design in the Team Shop with everyone's name on their own shirt is a good way to say thanks after a long run.
Stage Supervisor gift questions
What do stage supervisors do?
They run the stage side of a production during performances, calling cues and coordinating the crew, often from the booth or backstage. The job goes by different names at different theaters, so check their title if you're unsure.
Can I add a theater or production name?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a theater, company or show name there and check the preview before ordering.
Is there a good gift for a crew member too?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you order one design for a whole crew, with each person's name printed on their own shirt.
Do you have designs for kids or babies?
A few designs come as kids tees and a baby onesie, which is a fun pick if a theater family is expecting.
What sizes do the stage supervisor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a stage supervisor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
