Picking a gift for a state director
A state director usually runs a statewide program or office, which means their days are a mix of budget meetings, staff calls, legislative deadlines and long drives between regional offices. They're the person who has to hold a state's work together while answering to several bosses at once. A gift that acknowledges that job lands better than a generic office tee. Put the title on a shirt they can wear to the state capitol or a weekend farmers market, or on a mug for the desk where the phone never stops. If they're retiring or moving to a new role, a hoodie with the title and a year makes a good keepsake for the car ride home. Add the state name on a second line if you want it to read as theirs and not a stock job shirt, and remember that a title that's a little long may need the second line for spacing.
