Picking a gift for a sterile processing technician
Sterile processing technicians work behind the scenes in hospitals, cleaning, inspecting, assembling and packaging the surgical instruments that every operating room depends on. Their work is precise and often invisible, so a gift that acknowledges it can mean a lot. A soft tee for the drive in before a early shift, a hoodie for the chilly decontamination area, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the break room are all practical choices. Adding their own name, or the department or credential they earned, turns a generic profession shirt into something personal. If you're shopping for a whole sterile processing team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt. Sterile processing is a field where people are proud of meticulous work, and a gift that shows you understand that tends to be kept and worn.
Sterile Processing Technician gift questions
Can I add a credential like CRCST after the job title?

Is there a set day to celebrate sterile processing staff?
Hospitals often recognize sterile processing staff during National Healthcare Quality Week in the spring, but dates vary, so check with the department. Ordering a few weeks ahead is a good idea for team gifts.
