Picking a gift for a sterile supply technician
Sterile supply technicians, often called sterile processing techs, work in the quiet back rooms of hospitals and surgery centers, cleaning, inspecting, packaging and tracking every instrument the operating rooms will use that day. Most patients never see them, which is exactly why a gift that names their job means so much. Their days are long and mostly on their feet, and the break room is usually cold. A soft tee or a warm hoodie with their job title works for the commute and the off shifts, and a mug with their name becomes the one coffee cup nobody else touches. Spell out the full title, sterile supply technician, or keep it short with SPD or CRCST if that's how they put it on their badge. Only use a credential they actually hold, and when you're not sure, write their credential so the design stays accurate.
Sterile Supply Technician gift questions
Can I use the short form SPD or CRCST instead of the full title?
Yes. Type the abbreviation you prefer into the text box. Many techs use the full title on shirts and the initials on mugs, so pick whichever feels right for the person.
Should I add a credential after their title?
Only if they hold it. If they have a CRCST or CSPDT, you can add it on a second line. If you're not sure which credential they earned, leave it off.
Can I order shirts for my whole sterile processing department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the sterile supply technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a sterile supply technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
