Gifts from Stoutsville
Stoutsville is a small place, and people who come from it tend to hold on to that. Someone who grew up there, or moved away and still calls it home, is likely to notice a shirt with the town name on it right away. Small-town gifts land best when they're specific to the person: a tee for a homecoming weekend, a hoodie for a cold morning at the bus stop, a mug for the kitchen of someone who misses the place. You don't need a long backstory to make it theirs. Put their graduating class, their family name, or the year they left on the second line, and the shirt starts to belong to them. Stoutsville is a name a lot of people will recognize at a glance, so the gift is less about explaining where it's from and more about saying you know who they are.
