Picking a gift for a subcontract manager
A subcontract manager sits in the middle of a lot of moving parts. They negotiate terms with outside firms, track deliverables and schedules, chase change orders and keep the paperwork from piling up, often on construction sites or in engineering and manufacturing offices where the work is measured in deadlines. It's a job that gets noticed mostly when something goes wrong, so a gift that says their role out loud can feel good. A tee or hoodie with the title on it works well for the site trailer or a casual Friday, and a mug suits the desk where they fight through the morning's emails. What makes it land is the personal touch: add their name, the company or project they run subcontracts for, or the year they took the role. Then it stops being a generic job shirt and becomes theirs, something they can wear to the next project kickoff with a bit of pride.
