Picking a gift for a summer college internship
A summer college internship usually means a student working a full-time job for the first time while still thinking about classes, roommates and what comes next. They're often living somewhere new for a few months, learning office norms, eating lunch at a desk they're not sure they're allowed to leave, and trying to make an impression on people who will later decide whether to hire them. A gift that acknowledges that stretch lands well: a tee for the commute and the weekend, a hoodie for the air conditioning that every office seems to run too cold, or a mug for the first coffee of a 9 a.m. meeting. Add the word intern or their school's name, plus the summer year, and the piece becomes a small record of a season that's easy to lose track of. It's useful, it's personal, and it says you noticed they're growing into something bigger than a student.
Summer College Internship gift questions
What should I put on an internship shirt?
Most people use the word intern, the company or school name if it's appropriate, and the summer year. You can type it into the text box or the second line and check the preview before you order.
Is a summer internship gift appropriate for a professional setting?
A plain or lightly personalized tee or mug works well for most workplaces. Think about whether they'd wear or use it on the job before choosing a design with extra text.
Can I order for a whole intern group?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste a list of names and choose a size for each person. Everyone gets a shirt printed with their own name.
Are there designs for younger family members too?
Kids tees and a baby onesie are available for this word, so you can match a sibling or cousin with a smaller version.
What sizes do the summer college internship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a summer college internship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
