Picking a gift for a summer internships
A summer intern is usually a student or recent grad working a first real job, often in an office they've only seen on a tour. They're learning acronyms, figuring out when to speak in meetings, and trying to look like they belong in a place where everyone else seems to know the rules. A gift that acknowledges that stretch lands well. A light tee is useful for the commute and for casual Fridays, a hoodie helps with the office air conditioning, and a mug suits the kitchen where they'll be making coffee before a 9 a.m. start. Make it theirs by adding the company name, their school, or the year they started, so the shirt marks this particular summer and not just any internship. Internship season tends to run late spring through August, which is also when most people are ordering gifts for the people around them.
