Gifts from Sunflower
Sunflower is a nickname many people in Kansas wear with pride, since it's the state flower and the state's reputation for sunshine and open fields runs deep. The word is also used affectionately for anyone who turns toward the light, a friend who's always cheerful, a grandmother with a garden full of them, or a kid who's a bright spot in every room. A gift with Sunflower on it suits someone who loves yellow, who keeps a bit of the prairie in their heart, or who simply makes others feel warmer. Pick a design that feels like them, then use the second line for a name, a hometown or a year. A mug works well for the morning coffee ritual, and a tee or hoodie is a gift they can wear through the whole season of gardening, state fairs and long summer evenings.
