Picking a gift for a support dba
A DBA, or database administrator, keeps the data behind an application safe, fast and recoverable, and they usually hear about it only when something breaks. Their days mix tuning slow queries, planning backups, reviewing access rights and getting paged at odd hours when a replica falls behind. A gift that acknowledges that quiet, behind-the-scenes work tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with the words support dba on it gives them something to wear on the on-call weekend, and a mug works for the long stretch of maintenance windows. Since the word describes the job rather than a person, add a line that makes it theirs: a first name, a team, or the year they started. If you're buying for a whole database team, the Team Shop can print one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a fun way to show you noticed how much they hold together.
Support Dba gift questions
What does the support dba design say?
The design shows support dba as the main line. Many designs have a second line you can use for a name, team or year.
Can I add a name or team under the title?
Yes. Type it into the second line on the design and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a version for kids or babies?
There are kids tee and dark kids tee designs, plus one baby onesie design, for this word. Use the product filter to see them.
Can I order shirts for my whole team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the support dba shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a support dba gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
