Gifts from Surprise
Surprise is a small city in Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix, and most people who live there are proud of it. A shirt that says Surprise is the kind of gift that gets a laugh from the first look, especially for someone who has told the story of their hometown name a hundred times. Residents tend to be families, retirees and people who moved out for the lower cost of living and the sunshine, so a comfortable tee or a warm hoodie for cooler desert evenings suits them well. Because the word is also a place name with a built-in joke, a shirt works as a conversation starter. Add a second line such as a street, a year they moved in or a nickname, and it becomes personal. A mug is a good choice for someone who spends mornings on the patio. Choose the product that fits their everyday life and let the name do the rest.
Surprise gift questions
Is there a Surprise designed for kids?
Yes. Kids tees and dark kids tees are available, along with baby onesies. Use the product filter to see the designs that fit the child you have in mind.
Can I add a street or neighborhood to the design?
Many designs have a second line you can use for a neighborhood, a street or a year. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check it before you order.
Does the city name make a good gift for someone who moved away?
It can. A Surprise shirt or mug is a fun way to celebrate where they grew up, especially if they still joke about the name with friends back home.
What sizes do the surprise shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Surprise gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
