Tahltan Bear Dog gifts for the people who love them
The Tahltan Bear Dog is a rare, working breed from northwestern British Columbia, developed by the Tahltan people for hunting bear and moose and for companionship on the trail. Owners tend to be hunters, trappers and hikers who value a dog with real instinct and a steady temperament. A shirt or hoodie with the breed name works well for the outdoors person who spends long days with their dog, and a mug suits the kitchen where the dog waits by the door. The more personal touch is the second line: a dog's name, a year you got them, or a trail or town you two know well. That turns a breed shirt into a gift that is clearly about their dog.

No, it is a rare landrace breed with a small population, mostly in its home region of northwestern British Columbia. Many people will not know the name, so a shirt often starts a conversation.
Can I add my dog's name to the design?

Tahltan Bear Dogs were bred to hunt and hold bear and moose, and to work alongside people on the trail. Their owners often value them for courage and loyalty.
