Gifts from Tama
Tama is a city in Tokyo's western suburbs, in the foothills of the Tama Hills and home to a large green park and Tama Center's shopping and transit hub. Someone from Tama, or someone who has spent time there, may carry that suburban, hills-and-trains feel with them. A shirt or mug with Tama on it works as a quiet hometown marker, the kind of thing you'd wear on a day off or set out in the morning. For a family member who moved away, a Tama design can point back to a place they miss. For a friend who loves Japan, it's a specific nod that shows you paid attention. Type Tama into the text box, add a second line for a neighborhood, a year, or a nickname, and check the preview before ordering. Choose a hoodie for cold-weather trips or a baby onesie if the person has a new child with a Tama connection.
Tama gift questions
Can I add a neighborhood or nickname to a Tama design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the neighborhood, a nickname or a year there, and the preview will show how it sits under the word Tama before you order.
Are there Tama designs for kids?
Yes. Kids tees and dark kids tees come in several designs, and baby onesies are available in a few. Use the product filter to see them all.
Is Tama the same as Tama, Japan?
The designs use the word Tama itself, so the meaning depends on the person you're buying for. If they're connected to the Tokyo city, add a detail like a year or neighborhood to make it clearly theirs.
What sizes do the tama shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Tama gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
