Picking a gift for a tankerman
A tankerman works on the deck or at the loading arm of a tanker, handling cargo transfers, gauging tanks and keeping careful logs for every movement of liquid. The job is physical, early-start, and often done in weather, so the gifts that land are the ones that feel practical and personal. A dark tee or hoodie is ready for a cold morning at the dock, and an 11 oz mug is the one they'll keep reaching for on the night shift. The easiest way to make it theirs is to type their name or their company's crew line into the text box so the design reads as their own. You can also add a year, a vessel name if they're happy to share it, or the word that means most to them on the job. A shirt with their name on it says you noticed what they do, and that's usually the part people remember.
Tankerman gift questions
Can I add a name or a year to a tankerman design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name, a year or a company. Type it in and the preview will update before you order.
Do the designs include a vessel or company name?
Only if you type one in. Designs are personalized, so the text is up to you. Check that you have permission before adding a company or vessel name.
What's a good gift for a new tankerman?
A dark tee or hoodie with their name and start year works well. It's something they can wear on the job, and it marks the start of their work.
What sizes do the tankerman shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a tankerman gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
