Gifts from Tawas City
Tawas City is a small town on the shore of Lake Huron in Michigan's Iosco County, and people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it. Whether they're back for summer weekends, living two hours south in a bigger city, or wearing the name from the other side of the country, a Tawas City shirt says where they come from in a way a generic lake tee never could. Small-town gifts land when they feel personal rather than touristy. A tee for the summer weekends at the beach, a hoodie for the cold months when the town gets quiet, or a mug for the kitchen of someone who misses the drive home. Because the word is just the town name, the second line is where you make it theirs: a graduation year, a family name, or the street they grew up on. Those small touches are what make a Tawas City gift feel like it was picked for one specific person.
