Picking a gift for a technical staff assistant
A technical staff assistant usually keeps a department running from behind the scenes: setting up equipment, keeping labs and classrooms stocked, troubleshooting the printer that never works, and fielding the questions nobody else wants to answer. It's the kind of job that often goes unnoticed until something breaks, so a gift that says their role out loud tends to land well. A soft tee they can wear to work, a hoodie for the cold stockroom or the early start, or a mug that marks their coffee spot in the office all make a good everyday reminder that their work is seen. Put their exact title on it, or add the department, lab or school name on a second line so it's clearly theirs. If you're shopping for a whole team of assistants, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt is an easy way to thank everyone at once.
Technical Staff Assistant gift questions
Can I add a department or lab name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the department, lab or school name there and the preview will update so you can check spacing before ordering.
Is there a set day to celebrate technical staff?
There's no single national day for this role, so most people give a gift at the end of a school year, during a staff appreciation week or on their work anniversary.
Can I order one design for a whole team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the technical staff assistant shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a technical staff assistant gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
