Picking a gift for a technology director
A technology director usually sits between the people who build systems and the people who depend on them, which means their days are a mix of budget meetings, vendor calls, outages at inconvenient hours and the occasional quiet afternoon when something finally works. They tend to be the one who keeps the lights on, so the gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge the job without turning it into a joke about printers. A soft tee for the weekend, a hoodie for the server room or the drive in before dawn, or a mug for the desk where the planning happens all fit. Make it theirs by changing the second line to their district, school, company or department name, or to the year they took the role. That small detail turns a generic job title into something they will actually recognize as their own.
Technology Director gift questions
Can I add my district, school or company name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the organization name there and the preview will show how it sits under the title before you order.
Is technology director a title with an official credential?
Not usually. It is a role title rather than a license, so the designs simply show the title. If they hold a specific certification, you can add it on the second line instead.
What is a good gift for a new technology director?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the year they started is a welcome gift that marks the new role without being too formal.
Can I order for the whole IT department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop, pick one design, paste the team's names and choose a size for each person so everyone gets their own shirt.
What sizes do the technology director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a technology director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
