Picking a gift for a telephone engineer
Telephone engineers spend their days up ladders, in cable ducts and on rooftops, often in weather nobody else would choose to work in. They install and repair the lines and equipment that keep calls and broadband running, and the work is part practical know-how and part patience with the customer on the doorstep. A gift that acknowledges the trade lands best when it looks like something they'd actually wear on a job or keep on the van dash. A dark tee or hoodie is practical for working in and off the clock, and an 11 oz mug fits the tea break between call-outs. Add their company name or their own name on the second line so it's clearly theirs, and it stops being a generic trade shirt. If you're shopping for a whole crew, one design with each engineer's name on their own shirt makes a better team gift than a round of takeaway.
Telephone Engineer gift questions
Can I add my company name or a crew name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the company or crew name there and check the preview before you order.
Is a hoodie or a dark tee better for working outdoors?
Both work. A dark tee suits warmer days and hides dirt, while a hoodie is the better pick for cold early starts and outdoor jobs in winter.
Can I order shirts for my whole engineering team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the telephone engineer shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a telephone engineer gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
