Picking a gift for a ticket writer
A ticket writer is the person who puts the citation or parking ticket in your hand, usually on a cold morning or in a crowded lot, and then goes right on to the next car. It's a job that shows up in other people's worst moments, and it takes a thick skin and a steady pen. A shirt or mug with the title on it is a small way to say the job is seen. Gifts like this land best when they're practical and a little dry: a hoodie for the hours spent outside in the wind, a tee for the drive home, a mug for the break in the cruiser or the office. Adding a department, a city or their badge year on the second line makes it theirs. Ticket writers often have their own professional name for the work, so check with them before you order if you want the wording exact.
Ticket Writer gift questions
Can I add a department or city to the shirt?
Many designs have a second line. Type the department or city there and the preview will show how it sits under the title before you order.
Is ticket writer a common job title?
It's used in some towns and parking departments, but titles vary a lot from place to place. Check the exact wording they use at work if you want it to match.
Can I order shirts for a whole enforcement team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to pick one design, paste the team's names, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the ticket writer shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a ticket writer gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
