Gifts from Tigard
Tigard is a suburb southwest of Portland, Oregon, and most people who live there are proud of it in a quiet way. Plenty of them commute into the city, shop at the same grocery store they've used for years, and cheer for the local high school. A Tigard shirt is a way to claim the place without making a fuss about it. It works for the longtime resident who's always been a little defensive about being called a Portland suburb, and for the new arrival who wants to show they've landed somewhere they're glad to be. Pick a light tee for everyday wear, a hoodie for the wet Oregon winters, or a mug for the kitchen counter where the morning coffee happens. If you want something more personal, add a neighborhood, a street name, or the year they moved in, and the shirt becomes about their particular corner of town.
