Gifts from Tillatoba
Tillatoba is a small place, and the people from there tend to be the kind who notice when someone gets it right. A shirt with the town name is a quiet nod to home, the kind a person wears to the hardware store or the kids' soccer game because it's theirs. Since the word is less familiar outside the area, a shirt does double duty: it tells the wearer you thought of where they're from, and it starts the conversation with strangers who ask about it. For someone who has moved away, a mug with the town name on it is the small daily reminder of where they started. For someone still living there, a hoodie for cold mornings is practical and sentimental at once. Add a year or a second line if you want it to mean more, such as the year they were born or the year they left.
