Gifts from Tonalea
Tonalea is a small community on the Navajo Nation in northeastern Arizona, near the Utah border and the Little Colorado River. I'm not certain of its exact size or history, so I'll keep this to what a gift can honestly say: people from a place like this often carry it with them even after they move away for school, work or family. A shirt or mug with the name is a way to say where someone comes from and to keep that connection visible. If you're buying for someone who grew up there, ask them what they'd want the design to say, whether it's just the town name or a line about their family or clan. Use the second line for that detail. Light tees suit everyday wear, dark tees look sharp on a hoodie, and a mug works well for the person who keeps a morning routine close to home.
Tonalea gift questions
