Gifts from Tonasket
Tonasket is a small town in north-central Washington, tucked along the Okanogan River and the Okanogan Highway, where the orchards and open country stretch out in every direction. People who grew up there often carry the name with them long after they've left, and a Tonasket shirt is a quick way to say where they're from. It's a gift that fits a homecoming, a family reunion, or a grandparent who still follows the town news from a distance. Because the town is small, a shirt with the word Tonasket on it will get stopped and asked about, which tends to be part of the fun. For someone who has moved away, a mug or hoodie carries a little piece of home into a new kitchen or a cold morning in another state. Add a second line with the year they graduated or the street they grew up on, and it becomes a gift that only someone from there would fully read.
