Picking a gift for a tooling manager
A tooling manager usually sits between engineering and the shop floor, keeping dies, molds, jigs and fixtures in shape so production can run. Their days are a mix of scheduling tool maintenance, chasing down a worn insert before it ruins a run, and arguing with someone about lead times. Gifts that land with them tend to be practical and a little bit wry, the kind of thing that makes it clear you understand the job. A tee for the shop, a hoodie for the cold morning walk through the floor, or a mug for the desk where the drawings pile up. Put their title on the design, or add their company's name or a shop nickname on a second line, and it stops being a generic work shirt and becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole tooling team, one design with each person's name in the Team Shop is an easy way to say thanks.
Tooling Manager gift questions
Can I add a company name or shop nickname to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a company name, a shop nickname or a department under the title. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a kids or baby version of a tooling manager design?
Some designs come as kids tees and a baby onesie, though the selection is smaller than for adult shirts. Use the product filter on the page to see them.
What's a good gift for a tooling manager who just got promoted?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the year they moved into the role marks the step up in a way they can use every day.
What sizes do the tooling manager shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a tooling manager gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
