Gifts from Towner
Towner is a word people mostly know from the surname or from a small place name, so the first thing to do is check which one you're shopping for. If the person is a Towner by family, a shirt with the name is a quiet nod to a family history they probably already tell stories about. If the word is a town or city name, the gift works best when it matches a place they really feel connected to, like where they grew up, where they went to school, or where their family still lives. Either way, the strongest version of this gift is the one with a detail only they would recognize. A second line for a street, a year they moved, a nickname from home or the name of their high school can turn a plain word into something that sounds like them. Tees and hoodies suit an everyday wear-around gift, and a mug fits the person who starts the morning at the same kitchen counter every day. For a group of people sharing the name, the Team Shop lets you pick one design and paste each person's name for their own shirt.
Towner gift questions
Is Towner a place or a last name?
It can be either. If you know the person well, the second line is the best place to make the design specific, whether that's a family name, a street or a year.
Can I add a second line to the Towner designs?
Many designs have a second line for a name, a year or a place. Open any design and type it in to see the preview update.
What's a good gift for someone who moved away from Towner?
A mug or tee with the place name and the year they left works well. It's the kind of thing they'll wear when they want to feel close to home again.
Can I order Towner shirts for kids in the family?
Yes. There are kids tees and dark kids tees with Towner designs, and baby onesies are available too.
What sizes do the towner shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Towner gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
