Picking a gift for a train director
A train director usually runs the show from a dispatch desk or a control room, coordinating crews, tracking schedules and making the calls when a route goes sideways. It's a job that rewards steady nerves and a good memory for timetables, and it often happens while everyone else is still asleep or heading home. The gifts that land tend to be practical ones that fit long shifts and quiet hours. A soft tee for the commute, a hoodie for the cold control room, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off during a busy stretch. Add their job title on the front, or a line for the line or territory they cover, and it stops being a generic work shirt and becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole team, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a better gift than another round of coffee.
Train Director gift questions
Can I add a railroad or line name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a place, company or team. Type it there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is train director a good gift for someone who just got promoted?
It can be. A hoodie or mug with their new title marks the move in a way they'll use every day, and it's easy to personalize with their name.
Can I order shirts for my whole team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the train director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a train director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
