Gifts from Troutdale
Troutdale is a small city on the Columbia River east of Portland, Oregon, with a reputation for its outdoor spirit and quiet, tight-knit feel. The people who live there, or who grew up there and moved on, tend to wear their hometown with pride. A Troutdale shirt is how they claim the place wherever they end up, whether that's the Gorge trails on a Saturday or a dorm room across the country. Because the city is small, a design with the name and a second line for a street, a school year or a neighborhood feels personal in a way a generic Oregon souvenir doesn't. For someone who's left, a Troutdale mug on the kitchen counter is a quiet reminder of where the roots are. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie with the name is a practical everyday piece that says they belong.
