Gifts from Tuba City
Tuba City is a town on the Navajo Nation in northern Arizona, and people who live there or come from there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the town name is a way to claim that place, whether the person is a lifelong resident, a teacher or nurse who moved there for work, or a former student who still thinks of it as home. Because Tuba City is a small place, a shirt with the town name will stand out in a way a big-city design doesn't. A hoodie is a good fit for the cold desert winters, and a mug works well for the morning routine of someone who misses home. If you want something more personal, add a second line with a school class year, a family name, or the year they moved away, so the shirt becomes a record of their own connection to the town.
