Picking a gift for a tv production assistant
A TV production assistant is usually the first to arrive and the last to leave, running cables, fetching coffee, tracking props and keeping schedules from slipping while everyone else is focused on the shot. Plenty of them work long days on set, in edit bays or on location, often with a call sheet in one hand and a walkie in the other. A gift that shows you understand that hustle tends to land well. Put their title on a soft tee they can wear to a shoot, a hoodie for cold early-morning call times, or a mug that stays on the production table where it belongs. Adding a second line, like a production name, a show title or a year they started, makes the gift feel like it was made for them rather than for anyone in the industry. Many production assistants are early in their careers, so a gift that marks the start of the job can mean a lot.
