Picking a gift for a twister operator
A twister operator is someone who chases storms for a living, watching radar, reading the sky and making calls that can mean the difference between a safe chase and a dangerous one. They spend long days on dusty highways, eat gas station food, and work through a lot of quiet hours waiting for the storm that might never come. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is a conversation starter at the next chase briefing, and a mug with their name can keep them company through the long drives between storm systems. To make it their own, add the team name they chase with, their call sign, or the year they started. That second line is what turns a generic storm shirt into something only they would wear.
Twister Operator gift questions
Can I add a team name or call sign to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line you can use for a team name, a call sign or a year. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check it before ordering.
What's a good gift for someone who just started chasing?
A tee or mug with their title and the year they started works well. It marks the start of their work and is something they'll keep as they gain experience.
Can I order matching shirts for my whole storm chase team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the twister operator shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a twister operator gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
