Picking a gift for an ultrasonographer
Ultrasonographers, often called sonographers, spend their days in dim exam rooms guiding a transducer over patients and watching the screen for the details a radiologist needs. The work asks for steady hands, sharp eyes and a calm bedside manner, because the person on the table is usually nervous. Many sonographers worked hard for their credentials, so the gifts they keep tend to show that. A tee or hoodie with their specialty printed on it, such as OB, cardiac or vascular, tells coworkers exactly what they do. A mug with their name is a good fit for the break room, where scan rooms run late and coffee gets cold. If you're buying for a whole department, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a fine thank-you, especially during Sonography Week, which is in late October. Add their credential, like RDMS or RVT, if they've earned one and want it shown.
Ultrasonographer gift questions
Can I add a credential like RDMS to an ultrasonographer shirt?
Yes. Type it into the text box on its own line or after their name, and the preview will show you how it sits before you order.
When is Sonography Week?
Sonography Week is usually held in late October, so order a couple of weeks early if you're buying for a department.
Is there a gift for a student just starting sonography school?
A tee or hoodie with their name and the year they started or graduate is a good choice. It marks the milestone and gives them something to wear through the long clinical rotations.
Can I order shirts for my whole team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the ultrasonographer shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an ultrasonographer gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
