Umbrellabird gifts for the people who love them
Umbrellabirds are big, dark, glossy birds from the cloud forests of Central and South America, and the name comes from the feathered crest on top of the head that opens out like a small umbrella. Most people have never seen one, which is exactly why a gift with the word on it lands. It's a conversation starter, a little joke for the friend who's into birds or oddball animals, and a reminder of a creature that turns up in nature documentaries and nowhere else. Plenty of people who love birds also love the wildness of the rainforest, so a shirt or mug can carry that feeling into an ordinary morning. To make it theirs, add a second line with a nickname, a favorite bird, or the year they started birding. A personal line turns a clever word into a gift that feels chosen for them.
Umbrellabird gift questions
Do umbrellabirds actually have umbrellas on their heads?
Not literally. The male umbrellabird has a large crest of feathers on its head that it can raise over its bill, and the shape looks like a dome or umbrella. That's where the name comes from.
Is this a good gift for someone who isn't a birder?
It can be. Umbrellabirds are a fun, odd name that makes people curious. If you want it to feel more personal, add a line that connects it to their interests.
Can I add a name or second line to the design?
Many designs have a second line for a name, a nickname, or a year. Type it into the text box and the preview will update.
What sizes do the umbrellabird shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an umbrellabird gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
