Gifts from Unalakleet
Unalakleet is a small town on the Norton Sound coast of western Alaska, and the people who grew up there or still call it home tend to carry it with them wherever they go. A shirt with the town name is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation, whether that's at a family gathering, a college campus far from the coast or a job in the Lower 48. Because the town is small and the name is one most shoppers won't recognize at a glance, a gift like this often lands best with someone who knows exactly what it means to them. For a sibling who moved away, a parent who never left, or a graduate heading out into the world, a hoodie or mug with Unalakleet on it carries more meaning than a generic souvenir. You can add a second line for a year, a family name or a nickname, so the design belongs to them and not just to the place.
Unalakleet gift questions
Can I add a second line with a year or name?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a year, a family name or a nickname. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is Unalakleet a good choice for a gift for someone who grew up there?
Often, yes. A shirt or mug with the town name tends to mean the most to people who have a personal connection to it, such as former residents, family members or friends who have spent time there.
Which product works best for an Alaska hometown design?
It depends on the person. A hoodie suits colder weather and someone heading off to school, a mug works well for everyday use at home, and a tee is a simple everyday option.
Can I order matching shirts for a family or group?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the unalakleet shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Unalakleet gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
