Picking a gift for a unit director
A unit director runs a whole unit, whether that's a nursing floor, a county department, a residential program, a corporate team or a camp, so they're usually the last to leave and the first to take the phone call. They spend a lot of the job being the person everyone else leans on, which makes a gift that's just for them land well. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is a nice way to say you see the work, especially for the ones who wear a polo to the office and dream of something softer. A mug with their name or title is the kind of thing that stays on the desk through a long budget season. For a team that wants to say thanks together, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is easier than a card signed by twelve people and has more presence on Director's Day or at a year-end party. Add the unit name or year on the second line so it's clearly theirs.
Unit Director gift questions
Can I add the name of the unit or department?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the unit, department or program name there. The live preview shows how it will look before you order.
Can I put their name as well as the title?
Yes. Type their name in the text box with the title. Keep it short so the design stays easy to read on a shirt or mug.
Is there a good gift for a director who is retiring?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the year they're retiring works well. It's personal and something they can keep using after the job ends.
What sizes do the unit director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a unit director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
