Picking a gift for a unit manager
A unit manager runs a team of people, a set of schedules, and a budget that never quite balances, and most days they're the one answering for all of it. Depending on the setting, that might be a hospital ward, a warehouse floor, a call center, a retail department or a residential facility. Their gift should respect the long hours and the fact that they're often the last one to leave. A soft tee for the drive home or a hoodie for the cold early-morning walk to the car does more good than another desk ornament. A mug with their name on it is the kind of small thing that gets used every single day. Add their title in the second line, or the name of the unit or department they run, and it becomes specifically theirs. If you're gifting a whole management team, the Team Shop lets you put one design on everyone's shirt with each person's own name, which tends to land better than a group card.
Unit Manager gift questions
Can I add the name of their department or unit?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the unit, department or site name there and the preview will show how it sits under the title.
Is there a version for a unit manager in a specific field?
The unit manager designs use the title itself. If their field has its own title, such as nurse manager or shift supervisor, check the store for that word and compare designs.
What's a good gift for a manager who is leaving their job?
A mug or tee with their title and a year or team name works well. It gives them something to keep from the team that worked with them.
What sizes do the unit manager shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a unit manager gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
