Picking a gift for a unit secy
A unit secretary keeps a hospital floor running. They answer the phones, route orders and messages, track down the charge nurse, and know which doctor is hiding in which room before anyone else does. It's easy work to overlook until the shift goes sideways, and that's why a gift that names the job tends to land well. Their unit matters as much as their title, so a shirt or mug with the department on it, like ICU, ER, Med-Surg or Labor and Delivery, says you've noticed what their days look like. Put their name on it as well, so it's clearly theirs when it turns up in the break room. Many of these designs have a second line, which is where the unit or a year fits. If you're thanking a whole desk or floor, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
Unit Secy gift questions
What should I write on a unit secretary shirt?
Their name is the usual choice, with the unit or department on the second line. Some people add the year they started. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing.
Can I order shirts for my whole department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Is there a good time of year to order?
National Hospital Week falls in May and Administrative Professionals Day is in late April, so those are busy times. Order a little early if you're buying for a whole team.
Are there options for something other than a shirt?
Yes. Many designs are also available as 11 oz mugs and hoodies, which work well for a desk or a break room.
What sizes do the unit secy shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a unit secy gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
