Picking a gift for a university librarian
A university librarian spends the day helping students find sources, answering reference questions, keeping collections in order and, quite often, quietly rescuing someone's thesis from a deadline. They tend to be the calmest person in the building and the one who knows where everything is. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is an easy way to say you see the job, and it's the kind of thing they'll wear on a weekend trip to the stacks or a book sale. For a mug, the desk or the office is where it earns its keep, especially during finals week when the coffee runs long. Add their name or the library they work at in the second line and it becomes theirs rather than generic campus merch.
University Librarian gift questions
Can I add the name of their library or university?
Many designs have a second line for a name or school. Type it in and the preview will show you how it fits before you order.
Is there a design for a retiring librarian?
Use the text box to write something like Retired or a year of service on the second line. Any design can take that wording.
Can I order for a whole library department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste each person's name, and choose a size for each one.
What sizes do the university librarian shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a university librarian gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
