Picking a gift for a university supervisor
A university supervisor is the person who visits student teachers in classrooms, watches them teach, and helps them turn a rough first lesson into something they can use. Their days can mean driving between schools, sitting in the back of a room during a lesson, and then debriefing over a long conversation about what worked. A gift for them should acknowledge that quiet, observational work. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is a good start, and a mug fits the stack of observation forms and coffee that comes with the job. Make it theirs by adding their name, the program or department they work with, or the year they started. If you're buying for a whole cohort of supervisors or a team leaving a program together, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt. Gifts like these tend to land best at the end of a semester or when a supervisor retires after many years of placements.
University Supervisor gift questions
Can I add a university or department name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line you can use for a university, department or program name. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is this a good gift for a retiring supervisor?
It can be. A mug or tee with their title and the years they served marks the career in a way that's personal without being overly formal.
Can I use this for a student teacher's supervisor?
Yes. Many people buy these for the supervisor who guided them through student teaching. A short thank-you note alongside it makes the gift more meaningful.
Are there designs for kids or babies?
Kids tees and a baby onesie are available for this word. They're a fun option if the supervisor's family wants matching pieces.
What sizes do the university supervisor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a university supervisor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
