Picking a gift for a university teacher
A university teacher spends the term juggling lectures, office hours, grading stacks and committee meetings that could have been emails. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that acknowledge the mix: a comfortable hoodie for the drafty lecture hall, a mug for the grading marathon, a tee for the department picnic. Some teach the same course for decades, and some are newly hired and still learning the building. Either way, a design with their title on it says you noticed what they do. Add the department or the course number on the second line, or a year they started, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic professor shirt. Gifts tend to land well at the end of a term, when grades are in and the exhaustion is obvious, and around the start of a new academic year, when a fresh mug feels like a small reset.
University Teacher gift questions
Can I add the department or course name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a department, course number or year. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
What's a good gift for a professor who's retiring?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the years they taught works well. It's something they can use every day and it marks the end of a long career.
Can I order shirts for my whole department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the university teacher shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a university teacher gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
