Gifts from Upper Jay
Upper Jay is a small town in the Adirondack foothills of New York, the kind of place where people know the names on the mailboxes and the trail heads. Someone from Upper Jay usually carries the place with them, whether they've stayed close to home or left for school or work. A shirt with the town name is a way of saying where they're from without a long explanation, and it works for the person who never left and the one who keeps coming back for summers and holidays. Because the town is small, the name on a shirt tends to start conversations about where it is and what it's like there. A hoodie suits the cold months in the mountains, and a mug fits the kitchen table where most small-town talk happens. You can add a second line for a street, a year or a family name to make it theirs, so the gift says more than just the town.
Upper Jay gift questions
