Gifts from Vashon
Vashon is an island in Puget Sound, reached by ferry from Seattle and Tacoma, and the people who live there tend to be fiercely attached to it. A Vashon shirt is how a islander says so: at the ferry landing, at the island's fairs and farmers markets, or on a trip off-island where someone asks where they're from. It's a small place with a strong sense of community, so a design that names the island itself lands more warmly than a generic souvenir. For someone who grew up there and left, or who moved there for the quiet and the water, a mug or hoodie with the island name is a reminder of home. Pick a light tee for summer ferry rides and a hoodie for the gray months, when the island is at its most itself.
Vashon gift questions
Can I add a second line to a Vashon design?
Many designs have a second line for a year, a neighborhood or a name. Type it into the text box and the preview will update so you can check it before ordering.
Are there Vashon designs for kids and babies?
Yes. Kids tees, kids dark tees and baby onesies all have Vashon designs, so a whole family can match.
Can I order Vashon shirts for a group?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to pick one design, paste a list of names, and choose a size for each person, so every shirt prints with its own name.
Which Vashon design works best for a dark shirt?
The dark tees use designs built to show up on darker fabric, so pick from the dark tee list rather than the light one for the best contrast.
What sizes do the vashon shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Vashon gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
