Picking a gift for a vice president software engineering
A vice president of software engineering usually runs the people who build the product, which means they spend their days balancing roadmaps, hiring, architecture reviews and the occasional production fire that pulls everyone into a call at night. A gift that acknowledges that juggling tends to land better than a generic tech joke. A hoodie is useful for the cold conference room and the late-night incident bridge. A mug earns its place on the desk through a long run of planning meetings. A tee works well for the weekend, or for the team retreat where engineers finally see their leader in something other than a slide deck. Put the title on the shirt, or add a second line for the company or the year they took the role. If you're buying for a whole leadership group or engineering org, the Team Shop lets you pick one design and paste each person's name, so everyone gets their own size and nobody has to coordinate it through a group chat.
