Picking a gift for a visual director
A visual director usually sits between the creative team and the people who have to sign off on it, which means they spend their days shaping how things look and then defending those choices in meetings. They're often the last person in the building to leave when a campaign or a set is due, and they carry a sketchbook, a camera or a mood board everywhere. What lands well for them is something that nods to the craft without being precious about it: a tee for the weekend, a hoodie for the cold studio or the late edit, a mug that's theirs for the first coffee of a long day. Type their title as visual director on the front, or add a second line with their team or the project they're proudest of, and the shirt starts to sound like them. If you're buying for a whole department, the Team Shop lets you print one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
Visual Director gift questions
Can I add a name or team under visual director?
Yes. Most designs have a second line where you can type a name, a team or a project. The preview updates as you type, so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a shirt for a visual director who works in film or video?
The visual director designs cover the title itself. You can add a second line such as film, video or a production name to make it more specific to their work.
What's a good gift for a visual director starting a new role?
A mug or hoodie with their new title and the year they started marks the move without being too formal. It's something they'll use while they settle in.
Can I order shirts for my whole creative team at once?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the visual director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a visual director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
